Beyond the Numbers: Achieving Total Wellness

Lab results, blood pressure readings and the number on the scale all matter. But they do not tell the whole story. You can have “normal” numbers and still feel exhausted, anxious or stuck. Our mission at Hill Family Medicine is to heal the whole human, which means looking at how you actually feel and live.

Energy

Ongoing fatigue is one of the most common reasons people visit a doctor. Poor sleep, low iron, thyroid problems, hormone changes, blood sugar swings, stress and depression can all play a part. We look for the cause instead of telling you to push through. When hormones are involved, hormone replacement therapy may be an option.

Sleep

Sleep affects appetite, mood, focus, blood sugar and heart health. If you snore, wake often or never feel rested, tell us. Sleep apnea and other problems are common and treatable.

Stress and emotional health

Long-term stress keeps the body in survival mode. It can raise blood pressure, disrupt sleep and drive cravings and emotional eating. We take emotional health as seriously as physical health. For patients who want to go deeper, Sacred Medicine is our program for understanding the patterns beneath anxiety, depression and burnout.

Your relationship with food and your body

Weight is rarely just about willpower. When weight is part of your health picture, our medical weight loss program looks at the reasons behind it and builds a plan you can keep, so progress shows up in your energy, confidence and daily life, not only on the scale.

Movement and strength

Regular movement and strength training protect your heart, muscles, bones and mood at every age. We help you find a starting point that fits your body and schedule.
