Hill Family Medicine is an independent family medicine clinic serving West Austin, Bee Cave, Lakeway and the Hill Country. Our mission is to heal the whole human. That means taking time to understand what is behind your symptoms, keeping wait times short and making it easy to reach your care team.
Here is an overview of the care we offer and how to tell which service fits what you need.
Primary and integrative family medicine
We care for adults and families: wellness exams, sick visits, lab work, and ongoing care for conditions like high blood pressure, high blood sugar and high cholesterol. When you need a specialist, we refer you and stay involved. Our integrative approach pairs conventional medicine with evidence-based nutrition, sleep and lifestyle care.
Preventive care

Many serious conditions are easier to treat when they are found early. We recommend screenings based on your age, history and risk factors, review your labs with you, and refer you for tests like mammograms and colonoscopies when they are due. Learn more about preventive care.
Medical weight loss
Our weight loss program starts with a simple question: what caused the weight gain, and what has to change for the loss to last? For appropriate patients, GLP-1 medications can reduce appetite and make progress easier. We use them as one tool, paired with nutrition, strength, sleep and stress support, and we plan for life after the medication from the start.
Hormone replacement therapy
Fatigue, poor sleep, mood changes and low libido can have hormonal causes in both women and men. We evaluate your symptoms, history and lab results, and when hormone therapy is appropriate, we build and monitor a plan that fits you.
Mental and emotional health
Sacred Medicine is our program that looks at the patterns beneath anxiety, depression, burnout and feeling stuck. For carefully selected patients, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy may be offered as part of that program after a medical review. It is not a stand-alone treatment, it is not right for everyone, and it does not replace emergency or ongoing mental health care.
We also offer an Adult Autism & Neurodivergence Clarity Visit for adults who wonder whether autism or neurodivergence helps explain their experience.
Medical cannabis evaluations
A qualified physician on our team can evaluate Texas patients for low-THC medical cannabis under the Texas Compassionate Use Program. Qualifying conditions under state law include epilepsy, PTSD, cancer, multiple sclerosis, autism, chronic pain and others. If you qualify and cannabis is appropriate for you, your physician enters the prescription in the state registry; you do not register yourself.
Aesthetics
Our aesthetics services, including Botox with Stephanie Boothe, APRN, FNP-C, are designed to soften lines while keeping a natural look. Every treatment starts with a consultation.
Hands-on care and in-office testing
- Osteopathic manipulative treatment for neck, back, joint and muscle concerns
- Cognivue cognitive screening to look at memory, focus and processing speed
- TM Flow testing to screen circulation, nerve function and the autonomic nervous system
